Happy Chinese New Year everybody!

Chinese New Year is the time to celebrate good luck and fortune for the tough 12 months that are passing. It actually goes for 15 days, but we celebrate it on the first day and the day before the first day. Its complicated but at the same time, worth the complication! It's an event where every family comes together and eats what we call a "Coming together for the year" dinner. It was a bit eventful, with dancing lions and the usual traditional food. Amanda came with me and we wondered what it'll be like if the boarders were put in this situation. The outfit was what I wore. I kind of looked out of place since the dinner wasn't really formal. As of course, mother was gorgeous with her dress, and my dad was still the charming one. My brothers didn't come because of work, but Vincent came back from the temple with a "Safety pocket" for me. It's kind of like a yellow triangle, which I keep in my wallet now. Chinese New Year is really fun, so far I have $255, and heaps of family time left!
